LINKITVPN ("LINKITVPN," "we," "us," or "our") considers the protection of users' personal information and related data to be an important matter. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, managed, shared, and protected when users access the LINKITVPN website, download or use LINKITVPN applications, register an account, purchase or subscribe to services, or otherwise interact with LINKITVPN.

Within the operational structure of LINKITVPN, the principal roles of each entity are as follows.

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell users' personal information.

However, we may share, disclose, or provide relevant information to the extent reasonably necessary in the following circumstances.

5.1 Necessary Handling Between Cooperative Entities

Under LINKITVPN's cross-border operational and technical support structure, Shinsei Soft Co., Ltd. and UnitedBiz Software Inc. may handle relevant information to the extent necessary for product development, engineering support, platform support, support coordination, security maintenance, or legal compliance. Any such handling is subject to clear purposes, necessity-based scope limitations, and appropriate permission controls.

Under LINKITVPN's operating structure:

  • Management relating to accounts, customer data, and server operations is handled primarily by Shinsei Soft Co., Ltd.
  • Processing necessary for product development, engineering support, technical platform support, and publishing or distribution support may involve UnitedBiz Software Inc. to the extent necessary.
  • Different download, purchase, or subscription channels may involve different display entities, billing entities, or payment receiving entities, but that does not automatically alter the allocation of data management responsibilities set out in this Privacy Policy.

In accordance with applicable law, we implement reasonable contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards and seek to protect international data handling through encrypted communications and other appropriate protective measures.

7. Retention Period

We retain relevant information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. Retention periods are determined comprehensively based on the type of data, purpose of processing, status of the user relationship, transaction record needs, dispute handling needs, and legal compliance requirements.

After the applicable retention period expires, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise process relevant information in a lawful manner as required by applicable law and business needs.

We place importance on information security, privacy protection, and compliance. Taking into account applicable laws of Japan, the United States, and other relevant jurisdictions, we continuously work to improve our internal controls, access permission management, technical safeguards, and operational compliance framework.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, unauthorized use, unauthorized disclosure, alteration, leakage, loss, or destruction. Such measures may include:

  • Reasonable safeguards during transmission and storage
  • Internal approval controls and permission controls for development, engineering, and operational collaboration

However, users should understand that no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

9. Users' Rights

Subject to applicable law, users may have certain rights regarding their personal information, including:

  • The right to request access
  • The right to request correction or supplementation
  • The right to request deletion
  • The right to request suspension or restriction of processing
